Abstract

This report contains the overall details regarding the Microinsurance Administration
System. Micro insurance is the protection given to the people with low-income using
micro or small financial transactions. The Microinsurance Administration System
automates the whole process of microinsurance with additional facility of report
generation which ultimately helps in decision making process. The report includes the
details regarding the analysis, development, testing and implementation of the
microinsurance administration system.
The development of the system has been performed on a modular basis where each
new module is developed only after its preceding module is completed. One of the
major features of the system is that read/write permission can be provided for each
module/sub-module for a particular user/group.
The report also includes the details regarding the scope creep faced during the project
and the measures taken to overcome it. The database for the system was earlier
developed in MySQL which was changed to SQL Server 2008 R2. The report also
contains details regarding its requirements and consequences.
