Integrated tax system at Professional Computer System Pvt. Ltd (CSC-452) 

Abstract

An Internship was required for partial fulfillment of the degree of BSC.CSIT. In
December 23, 2013 I had started my internship in Professional Computer System
P. Ltd. My internship was carried under the supervision of Mr. Uphar Joshi and
Mr. Raju Shahi with the department head Mr.Iltaf Hussain
Professional Computer System (PCS) is a leading ISO 9001:2008
certified software company of Nepal, promoted by IT professionals' with more
than 20 years of experience in the field. It has been working mostly in software
development and consulting since 1988.
My supervisor had assigned me to do testing for the project as an intern. The
project name was “integrated tax system” which was developed on asp.net
platform. It was Nepal government project of Inland Revenue department. Apart
from project, I myself develop an e-commerce website on asp.net platform.
This report presents the complete information about my internship at Professional
Computer System P. Ltd and to be familiar with practical aspects of the theoretical
knowledge gained during my undergraduate study. This report mainly focuses on
the different aspects of knowledge gained during the development of projects. The
main technology used here is visual studio 2010, sql server, word, Excel. In the
entire project C# was used as programming language and sql server database as
the database platform. As I worked in PCS I get used to with the work assigned to
me and company
Overall I found my internship program a good platform for the exposure in the
industry.
