Project Management Tool for Vianet Communications- (CSC-452) 

Abstract

A Bachelor in Computer Science and Information Technology degree awarded by
Tribhuwan University includes an Internship project in the final semester which is
carried out for partial fulfillment of the BScCsIT degree. This project is carried out
based on this internship project to implement the theoretical knowledge into the
practical knowledge in the organization and develop professional capabilities.
For internship, I chose Vianet Communications, Jawalakhel where I was introduced as
a software developer. I was assigned a project entitled ‘Project Management Tool for
Vianet Communications’.
The project ‘Project Management Tool for Vianet Communications’ is a tool for the
proper management of the entire projects of Vianet. Though open source project
management tools are available, they could not satisfy the requirements of the
organization. So, this tool is developed as per the requirements specified by the
organization so as to manage the projects and its team members within required
schedule, budget and quality. For the development of this project, we have used the
Vianet framework.
The documentation of this project includes all the details designed during the analysis
and designing phase as well as during the implementation phase. The project has been
successful in fulfilling the objective of course as well as an organization.
