Abstract

The report contains the details of the activities carried out during the internship conducted at Technology Sales Pvt. Ltd., Lainchour, Nepal. The internship has given real world exposure to the professional life and shown us the wider exploration of the career opportunities in computer science, information technology and management.

The author is much more interested in research and software development. So, author preferred Technology Sales (P) Ltd. for the internship purpose, as Technology Sales (P)Ltd. is a Research based trading and manufacturing company. Author had a great opportunity of getting real life work experience at Technology sales and had a chance to learn about the software development as well as hardware aspect and the client support system. Also it provides excellent opportunity to develop a relationship with a potential employer. Additionally, the internship instills author in the right kind of work attitude and professionalism through interaction with people in the organization ell as working in team and employing IT in the real workplace. Author was able to use my knowledge and supply it a real organization.
Web based Attendance and Leave Management system is web based project that is assigned to author during internship period. PHP is used as server side scripting language and MYSQL as database for this project. Implementation of this system can reduce the paper works and increase the automation of related organization. Employee details along with attendance and leave status and report generated by application can be useful in decision making process.
