Internship at D'Rose Technologies Pvt. Ltd 

Abstract

This report contains the details of the activities carried out during the internship program at D’Rose Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Tokha Road, Kathmandu. Various activities were carried out during internship program period which gave great opportunity of getting real life work experience and learning about the software development.
Various activities during internship program include support and maintenance of Branchless Banking, System and Networking, software development using Oracle Apex.
Other activities include research work, study field visit to various banks.
The primary project was development of system “Cooperative Online Information System (COOPSYS)”. The application was developed for a client who will try to sell to

Department of Cooperatives. All cooperatives in Nepal have to submit their monthly cash flow report, which is done manually. This web based system helps cooperatives to submit report online and helps Department of Cooperative to view reports, monitor and regulate cooperatives. System also allows public to view subemitted reports.
The system was developed using Oracle Database 11 g Express Edition for database and Oracle Apex 4.2.2 as development tool. Oracle Apex is RAD tool from oracle which allows developers to build web application from scratch. Thus, system helps in effective regulation of cooperative and develop better cooperative environment.
