Absence Tracking Module with Web SMS Notification for Biometric Attendance Management System At Guru Infosys Pvt. Ltd .- Final Year Internship Project Report 

Abstract

One of the many challenges organizations facing today is to establish instant communication with concerned party regarding their attendance and performance. In this project we introduce automated SMS featured biometric attendance system to address the key problem associated with absentness or tardiness of employee/user affecting the productivity of the organization.
Absence Tracking Module with Web SMS Notification for Biometric Attendance Management System is aimed to eliminate buddy punching and increase productivity help saving valuable time of students and lecturers, paper and generating report at required time. This system uses Biometric system and its data to draw results and make calculations about tardiness.
The main objective of this application is to discourage irregularity by making Biometric attendance management system effective where notification are sent to inform the concerned parties when absentness or lateness occurs. Predefine duration could be specified for consideration of lateness. This application helps reducing irregularity and increase productivity of the organization.
