Manidirdarsan At Rockmandu Developer 

Abstract

As partial fulfillment of BSc.CSIT under Tribhuvan University, I undertook internship on Application & Software Department of Rockmandu Developer. The objective of this internship was to apply the theoretical knowledge on real life workplace and enhance our professionalism.
Rockmandu Developer hosts a talented team of professional web designers, web developers and web programmers with professional experience in their related field who are highly committed to help you become more agile, competitive and profitable through listening, guiding and executing customers. In Chapter 1, I have written brief introduction of Rockmandu Developer, its areas of operation and offerings.
I was assigned the task to design and develop the website Mandirdarsan.com for the proper information flowing of all the religious places and temples along with the online booking and the payment system for the special puja and creating, maintaining, monitoring and evaluation of the records (database) of the religious sites efficiently and effectively. I got opportunity to enhance my programming skills. During the internship I used project management tools such as Gantt chart and system flow diagram to ensure that the tasks are completed in time. In Chapter 2, I have illustrated detail procedures of the activities, my role in the activities and learning from the activities.
As a whole, the internship program provided me the platform to sharpen my personal and technical skills and on job exposure of the organization culture, working styles, time management, coping with the changing environment and developing customer relationship. The internship program provided me an excellent working experience.
