Abstract

Music is a very important part in the everyday lives of today in a busy world. What impacts them the most is the lyrics that are sang that make the music what it is. Those lyrics can make or break the healthy developmental cycle of us. Music helps to influence positively through the lyrics.
The report introduces about an internship at ROCKMANDU DEVELOPER, Tinkune, Kathmandu. The main purpose of this report is to explore the development of a website whose goal is to gather all lyrics and tabs of songs from different countries in a website called Guitartabsandlyrics. The report describes clearly about the software development aspect and the client support system.
This website is designed to search lyrics and tabs to listen the songs and also view the lyrics, videos with different tabs. Most of the people, especially daily listeners, are searched with many lyrics websites. To my knowledge, Guitartabsandlyrics is the first website, and I expect it to be useful for listeners who searches to the number of lyrics and tabs everyday to listen a songs and to play a guitar.
Microsoft technology has been used to do this project. The languages are the ASP.NET 4.5 and the C# with the “.NET” framework. The database is MySQL with the server “MySQL server 5.5”. The integrated development environment that I have used is Microsoft Visual Studio 2012.
