e-Travel Webportal Development At e-Zone International 

Abstract

The main focus of this report is e-travel portal development being based on the platform PHP with the backend of MySQLdatabase. Content Management System based approach has been chosen for the overall development process, and Pyro CMS is the MS in which the system is implemented. Web based application for travel and tourism sector provides far more compatibility to heterogeneous platforms comparison to traditional system and makes the system manageable. It also provides an added layer of security by removing the need for the user to have access to the data and back end servers. Thus, implementing a web based travel portal offer competitive advantages to traditional software based systems allowing businesses to consolidate and streamline their systems and processes and reduce costs.This report contains the details of the activities carried out during the internship conducted at e-Zone International, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu for three months duration.
