Abstract

The Internet has fundamentally changed the way people live our lives since the first page popped out in the World Wide Web. With the ever increasing dependence on the Internet, the traffic on the World Wide Web has increased at an explosive rate. Web development is the process of designing layouts; an efficient CMS, flash integration and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is actually the process of making improvements to your website to get your site found in search engine results. The main goal of the search engine is to pick the content that they think is the most relevant to the search term for the user. The relevancy and authority of the content is determined by mainly two factors: How the content is organized and how the other sites are linking to your site. These all things are done by the algorithm the search engine have developed. SEO has traditionally divided into two main areas; On-page Optimization which covers what can be done on the pages of the website itself, and Off-page Optimization which covers activity that takes place elsewhere (e.g. link-building).
This program has enhanced my skill and enthusiasm to be known to the business environments and too learn from different aspects of working mechanisms of the organization. Working as an intern provided me extra knowledge and experience apart from my academic knowledge which will be very helpful for my upcoming career.
