Abstract

This report contains the overall details regarding the mobile and cloud based Human
Resource Information System. A mobile and cloud based Human Resource
Information System makes use of mobile devices like personal smartphones,
tablets, and now the newly-defined “phablets” (cell phones large enough to also
serve as a tablet) to manage employee’s information, payroll, leave management,
event management, coordinating employee’s benefits and suggesting employee
training and development strategies. The report includes the details regarding the
analysis, development, testing and implementation of the mobile and cloud based
Human Resource Information.
The project titled iOS and Cloud Based Human Resource Information System is the
one of the approach to mobile app based HRIS. Aim of this project is to develop a
light weight HRIS to manage the workforce & Human Resources. This project is
targeted as a commercial iOS application whose objective is to allow employee to
manage vacation time, sick leaves, view basic employee information and company
calendar. It can be applicable in small and medium-sized businesses that are already
fed up with the time-consuming, labor-intensive and inefficient manual tracking of
employee information scattered across various files and mediums; specifically
created for internal HR administrators, general managers and employees of an
organization.
