Abstract

The project entitled “Milky Way: Dairy Management System for Working
Environment Automation for Dairy Corporations in Nepal.”emphasizes on
developing a Dairy Management System. This project is a web based application for
Milk and dairy Product supplier and distributer for the ease of business functioning
and for minimization of errors in data collection and monetary transactions as well.
The application aids in automation by integrating the modules of the working
environment.
Computerized System plays a vital role in the progress of an organization and this can
provide the required information at the fingertips of the management. If a system can
generate stock, sales, purchase, production of items every day and can forecast the
company’s position based on some factors, it can be believed that the management
can easily take appropriate decisions to run the company efficiently.
Considering these factors, a highly reliable and secured Production and Collection
Management System with the objective of implementing ICT in dairy organizations
and to virtualize the working environment as well as management of the entire
business organization is being developed. This system is also targeted for its
development for the sole purpose of minimizing manual labor as well as time
required for daily transactions and ongoing records in the organization.
