E-hotels.com: An Online Portal for Reservation of Hotels and Resort to Assist Tourist in Nepal 

Abstract

Online hotel reservation is a popular method for booking hotel rooms where travelers book rooms using online security to protect their privacy and financial information and by using several online travel agents to compare prices and facilities at the different hotels. Nowadays, online travel agents have the picture of hotels and rooms, information on prices, deals and even of local resorts. Online hotel reservation is helpful for making last minute travel arrangements. But only the service of booking rooms and reservation that prevails in the current system doesn't provide complete benefit for the travelers. Travelers are the busy people, who don't stay at the same place everytime.so, they may be unaware about the best hotels and resort located around their destination points. Although the information can be found on the internet, it is again a boring and time consuming task to search for the individual websites of the hotels and resorts. this sometimes result in not finding the right accommodation with the desired facilities even if they exist.
This project is concerned with making an online platform to provide sophisticate and friendly experience to the online customers, employee and administrator. Customers can now make searches, reservations or cancel an existing reservation. Instead of searching for the individual websites, users can now find all the names and information of the popular hotels and resorts located at different areas in a single webpage.
Hence, the system provides easy interface for both novice and experts. The vision is to build interactive and useful information system to assist tourist who are planning to visit Nepal.
