Hire Processing, interoperability issues, individual profile, automatic report generation
Cross-platform integration is a worldwide issue and a challenge in business and organization. There comes a need for integration when different companies or enterprises decide to collaborate their systems. With all these concerns, this project, e-Recruiter: Implementation of Cross-platform Integration for Employee Hire Processing, is built envisaging interoperability issues and overcoming platform incompatibility for integrating two different systems built on entirely different platforms in order to recruit employee on the basis of their academic performances and professionalism.
This project comprises of interoperability issues between two different major platforms- java and .net with an approach adopted for their integration. Two different scenarios are put forward. One is a recruiting company that studies and analyses the trainees of other company for recruitment. The other is a training company that grooms and trains capable trainee. Through this project, these companies running on different platforms will overcome the incompatibility in their websites, thus can interoperate for hiring trainee efficiently.
Through this application, provision of individual profile of trainees with their basic and academic information, analysis and performance monitoring through graphs and charts, viewing and applying different courses online and automatic report generation is accomplished. The above information about trainee is securely made available to recruiting company for filtering capable trainee in their website. In addition, job requirements from other companies is made available to the trainees profile so that they can analyse and apply for jobs. Trainees and hiring company are able to communicate efficiently through message notification system. Hence, cross-platform integration between these two systems is achieved through web services.
