MediNet: An Application to Remind your Medical Appointments 

Abstract

In our developing and technology dependent life we totally rely on gadgets especially smart phones. Today everyone has a smart phone. With this we get an opportunity to use technology in a better way so that it can be made useful to us. And it plays an important part in our daily life and helps us staying fit in many ways.
Missed appointments are common and costly and can have a negative effect on the health of patients. This review included any kind of study investigating any type of system used to remind patients that they have a booked hospital appointment. The appointment reminder system is the best tool to empower the healthcare industry. Appointment Reminder System is to reduce the missed appointments. It automates the whole system of sending the reminders to the patients. This solution can impart many benefits for the healthcare industry. Reminder systems may also increase cancellation and rescheduling of unwanted appointments.
The project entitled “MediNet: An application to remind your medical appointments” is an android application system designed on Android Studio. It is life- saving, money saving and time saving application which is easy to use and provides a good user interface. It aims is to reduce the missed appointments of the patients. It enables them to view their own personal information, request or change appointments.
