Abstract

Electronic commerce has affected the ways in which enterprises and countries produce,
trade, and compete in fundamental and qualitative fashions. The ecommerce industry is
currently in its initial phase where growth is expected with the increase of online
shopping trend in Nepal. There is a wide range of online stores already established
consisting of both local and international e-trailers.
The emergence of e-commerce in Nepal has increased the potential of establishing the
Internet pharmacy in Nepal. The primary goal of this project is to enlighten the
possibility of implementing ecommerce as solution for traditional brick and mortar
pharmacy. The project is web application which encourages customer to buy medicine
through the internet. The main propose of this project is to address the problem raised
due to the traditional brick and mortar pharmacy. The project has explained scope of
internet pharmacy in Nepal and proposed the idea to deal with problem that could face
while regulating online pharmacy in Nepal.
