My Farm: Web Based Digitization and Collaboration Platform for Farmers and Experts at Axon System - A Final Year Internship Project Report [CSC-452] 

Abstract

The project is an agricultural application that encourages collaboration for farmers
and crop-experts to disseminate information and how this information can be used
for each other’s purpose. The report contains information about user’s requirement,
scope of web application in the field of agriculture, development process, and tools
used to develop the application.
The primary users of this application are farmers and crop-experts. The main
purpose of this project is digitization and collaboration. Since agriculture is one
such sector where digitization is least explored, this has caused problem in
migrating older data in newer system. Both farmers and experts digitize their data
with this application. Research on user requirement was studied and analysed to
create a system that can be useful to all the end users.
The report also talks about implementation issues and limitation in reaching service
to the end users because of the technical barrier and hesitant attitude of farmers
towards technology. To minimize this issue, partnering with other stakeholders of
agriculture proves to make this system reliable and sustainable
