Weather App - Android Based Weather Forecast Application At Ekbana Solutions Pvt. Ltd- A Final Year Internship Project Report [CSC-452] 

Abstract

Weather is a key factor that needs to be considered by people in their daily lives. It
has the capacity to fully determine how we spend our day. People dress based on the
weather, cancel and schedule outdoor events because of weather, and sometimes hide
in fear for their lives because of weather. This project represents this problem and
finds suitable solution for the current scenario.
“Weather App” – Android based weather forecast application is an android
application whose primary focus is to provide localized information of the weather as
much as possible. It provides daily and weekly weather forecast details related to all
the places within Nepal only. The main feature of this application is that it uses web
service to provide the information of the weather conditions of all the location the
user has chosen providing flexibility to the users. This project has targeted the
weather scenario of Nepal in general. Only the locations of Nepal are shown in this
system which provides a better localized and distributed form of data to the users.
The location are shown based on districts and the users can select whichever districts
information they want to view.
