Abstract

DocAid provides a simple interface for keeping the record of both the inward patients and out patients occupied by a doctor. The ultimate user of DocAid is a doctor who is engaged in the treatment of a patient admitted in the hospital or the patient that comes for the consultation. The record of the history of patients, symptoms incurred, diagnosis and the treatment procedure is very important in order to track the status of the patient getting treated. Digitalizing all the records of the procedures can be very helpful for the doctors to retrieve the information about the patient in a very quick time and from any part of the world as the records are maintained and saved in the web server that is online for twenty four hours.

The doctors can login to their user account and save each and every small detail of the medication of the Out Patient Department (OPD). A specific Identification Number is assigned to each patient that is absolutely unique and the doctor retrieves the information with the help of the assigned ID. There is the facilities to record the details like lab test results, symptoms, patient facial appearance and other necessary snaps that can assist in future follow up. Just before the specific time or day for the follow up, a notification is sent to the follow up patient as the reminder.

The application also facilitates the doctors to keep the record of the inward patients occupied by the doctors. The medical diagnosis and treatment procedure for the admitted inward patients are recorded and saved in the database of the server. The doctor from any place at any time gets constantly notified about the status of the patient that he has occupied. The application also facilitates the doctors to share the status of their patients with the colleagues or the senior professor in real time without having to visit the patient that enhances further treatment procedures. Different reports and queries can be generated based on vast options related to patients, diseases, trend of diseases.
