Online Examination Platform for Entrance Examination 

Abstract

Education is the process of learning. Examination system is an important part of education as it helps to value the knowledge of students. Traditional examination system is slow and lengthy process and takes long time to generate result so there is need lightweight automatic system. The existing system is very lengthy process and is prone to various errors. One of the main problems of the traditional system of examination is the large requirement of resources in terms of manpower, cost and time.
This project explores the tool and techniques that can be used to build a stable and lightweight online examination system. The prime goal of on the proposed system is to assess the applicants efficiently by the help of an automated system that doesn’t only save paper-checking time but also provides the results rapidly. It reduces the manual work and provides a better alternative than the existing system by using various scripting languages an interactive, dynamic and secure examination system can be created.
The scope of project covers all the educational institutions and private organization that provides training programs. Technologies used for front end are HTML, JavaScript along with CSS and the back end is managed by PHP and the database system is MySQL. The web server is Apache.
