E-गा.वि.स:Use of Information Communication Technology for local government (VDC) and its sustainability-Final Year Project Report 

Abstract

For a developing country like ours, the rural areas must be strengthened by various aspects in the fields of education, health, transportation and communication. The purpose of village development committee is to organize people structurally at local level and to create a partnership between the community and the public sector for improved service delivery system. The rise in the use of ICT especially for the developing country is an up-and-coming topic which can be mainly beneficial.
Our project entitled " E-गा.वि.स:Use of Information Communication Technology
for local government (VDC) and its sustainability" mainly focuses to digitize the
form fill-ups through online web based application and increase the interaction between the people and the local government through the use of advanced technological expertise. The project aims to create the application which would continue to help the general public if it is used at its potent level.
The general public can fill up forms online or they can directly download the form and fill it up and submit to the VDC. This helps people to use the facility of the VDC by creating an appropriate account for the application through the use of the internet. The administrator can only view the information that has been uploaded in the application. Once the project is underway there can be various ways for future enhancements and can be continued to be used in the future.We also aim to strengthen its purpose and marginally increase its usage level and build up the use of Information Technology in Nepal from the very root level.
