Abstract

The current scenario suggest that finding the right tradespeople like electrician,
gardener, builder, carpenter and dishwasher can be a real challenge. The most
common complaints are around poor quality of work and a general lack of
professionalism resulting in problems and issues. Today, if we want the worker
for our local works like construction, laundry, gardening and dishwashing we rely
on our relatives or closed ones to search for the workers they know. Similarly, the
workers face the same problem. They are unable to find the clients who are
trustworthy. There is no any suitable platform for both client and the worker.
The project titled Safer Service - Android and Cloud Based Connecting Platform
for Tradesperson and Client is the one of the approach to solve the above problem.
It is an android and cloud based mobile application that allows a platform for local
workers and clients to meet their local work needs. As the name suggests it
provides safe service to both client and worker i.e. user can be both client and the
worker. It is targeted as the commercial Android application that allows users to
hire workers (like builders, electrician, gardener, carpenter and dishwasher), post
jobs, rate worker, apply for the jobs and rate client. It maintains the user’s work
profile as well as client profile.
