Abstract

E-procurement is a term for the replacing paper-based procedures with information
technology-based communications and processing throughout the procurement
process. E-procurement is a tool for making the processes more efficient and
effectiveness.
E-procurement technology and processes can be used, at different phases of a
procurement process, of tender notices publication, provision for tender documents,
and submission of tenders, evaluation processes, and notification of award, ordering,
invoicing and payments.
It is electronic data transfer- to support operational, tactical and strategic
procurement. It is a fully capable electronic web application for purchasing goods
- and services. Bidders who wish. to submit bid automatically may purchase the bid
document directly from employer office.
