Abstract

Children are the future of nation and it cannot be denied that they need special care and
support in this phase. The way they are brought up affect the lifestyle and mentality of
them in future. No any child should be deprived of basics rights. They should get a
friendly and learning environment for growth. These points could be received by
children with family but there are many children who have no one and they need help
and support from country. There are many child care homes in Nepal that are taking
care of these children but the monitoring of these care homes are seemed to be less
effectively and the data’s provided from them are not so valid.
This project is a both web based and mobile based application where the main objective
is to ensure the rights of children in care homes or outside. The project will provide a
communication platform for the foster homes and CCWB that are responsible. And
also, it communicate with general public for child lost and abuse report. Although there
are Child Right Officers (CRO) and regional child right bodies appointed but the data
of children residing at foster homes are not managed and digitization of the information
in the central board is poor.
The application will help to digitize the data of the foster home and children that will
be constantly monitored by CCWB. Despite of being one of the prioritized field, there
is lack of communication between child homes and central board. Our application will
-Iso help the general public to report child related issues like child abuse and child lost
to the right authority. Notices about the programs and events of central child welfare
board could also be viewed. General public could also donate money to central child
rand through their e-sewa account. This system is the overall package that acts as a
interconnection linked between CCWB, foster homes and general public thus helps in
monitoring and digitizing the whole system of the CCWB
