Abstract

Child health is an area of major concern at the current time. Ensuring better health
for the children increases the chances of healthy individuals who can work for a
better country and a better world. Different government and non-government
organizations have been working in the sector of child health. Immunizing the
children against various preventable diseases can be one of the most effective ways
of ensuring child health.
The project entitled “Immunization Information System for Prenatal, Postnatal and
Child Care” has been designed with an aim to provide a channel for information
flow regarding child health and immunization. During our research work, this
project came up with the necessity of web application and a mobile application. The
r
web application has been developed for the hospital end where data regarding the
child birth or the expected child birth is stored and observed. The mobile application
has been developed for the user end, where user can store personal information and
receive timely notifications regarding children or pregnant woman.
Considering child health after child birth only may not always be necessary for
ensuring better health of children. Health of the child in prenatal stage also needs to
be considered in order to provide complete care to the children. Our project
considers the health issue of child beginning from prenatal stage in order to consider
all the health issues.
